The word "kaleidoscope" is derived from the Ancient Greek καλ(ός) (beauty, beautiful), είδο(ς) (form, shape) and -σκόπιο (tool for examination) – lit. "observer of beautiful forms." Figurative meaning "constantly changing pattern"

I love how just a small turn of the scope changes the picture,
moves the colors around, makes new patterns
-– always with beauty.
But most of all, I hope this blog will give your kaleidoscope a little turn.
I love the fact that it uses mirrors and random pieces of
colored glass and puts them all together to produce a
seemingly infinite number of images to view.
I also love connecting the dots.
In my way of thinking, everything's connected.
Everything has a hidden relationship with something else.
I look for it --
the hidden meanings, the life lessons,
that inevitably reveal to us something more
about ourselves and who we are.
I’m always so pleased when someone puts two things together and makes a new thought for me.
Whenever that happens, it changes me. It teaches me,
strengthens me, or causes me to see my world
a little differently.
Thus, my blog.
It is my hope that as I have fun blogging about what’s on my mind, you will find some varying ways of thinking to consider. I hope my writings will encourage you to see the connections all around you so you can become an "observer of beautiful forms.”
